Terms of sale

  • 60 days to send it back from delivery.
  • The bench map is part of the sale in the narrow sense that we keep the station rules current. It is not a warranty.
  • Texts are optional and never a condition of any purchase.
  • No disease claims. The goods are dietary supplements.

This page sets out the terms on which FOODSCIENCE, LLC (EIN 03-0236808), trading as FOODSCIENCE LLC, sells products through balancedlifescience.com. Reading it is worthwhile: placing an order means accepting it. Where the words “we” or “us” appear below they mean FOODSCIENCE, LLC.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, placing an order, or subscribing to our SMS or email communications, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Age and capacity

Orders are accepted only from people aged 18 and above who are legally competent to contract. The same threshold applies to the text programme. We do not knowingly sell to, or message, anybody below that age, and an order placed in breach of this may be cancelled and refunded.

3. What we sell, and what it is not

Everything on this site, Bench Line included, is a dietary supplement rather than a medicine. None of it is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and we will not describe it as though it were. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Responses differ between people and no outcome is promised. Speak to a qualified healthcare professional before you begin.

4. Text messages under the TCPA

Consent given through the opt-in box on this site permits FOODSCIENCE LLC to send recurring automated marketing and informational text messages to the mobile number you entered, as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) requires it to be given. It carries the following terms.

5. Sending something back

The return window is 60 days from delivery and it applies whether or not the seal is broken. Start it at stations@balancedlifescience.com. Once the goods arrive back, the refund is put through to the original payment method and clears in 5 to 10 business days. We do not deduct a restocking fee.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website is the property of FOODSCIENCE, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. What we are and are not answerable for

FOODSCIENCE, LLC stands behind the products it sells and will put right what it gets wrong, up to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Beyond that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in the State of Vermont.

9. Revisions

This page is revised from time to time. The current version is always the one shown here, dated at the top, and using the site after a revision is published means accepting it.
