Personal information given to balancedlifescience.com is handled by FOODSCIENCE, LLC (EIN 03-0236808), which trades as FOODSCIENCE LLC. This policy records what is collected, what it is used for, the limited circumstances in which it is disclosed, and how you can see, correct or delete it.

1. Categories of information

Identifiers you supply: name, email address, postal address for delivery and billing, and a mobile number where texts are requested.
Technical records of the visit: IP address, browser type, which pages were viewed and at what time, collected by cookies and comparable technologies.
Device and network signals: device identifiers and mobile network details, used to serve the site correctly.

2. How your mobile number is treated

A mobile number reaches us only when you enter it and tick the box, and that is your consent for FOODSCIENCE LLC to send recurring automated marketing and informational text messages to it. Frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The number and the consent attached to it are not sold, not rented and not shared, and they are carved out of every other sharing arrangement set out below.

3. What it is used for

Each purpose is listed because information collected for one is not quietly reused for another.

Filling the order you placed and sending what you asked to receive.
Emailing confirmations, despatch notices and tracking.
Sending promotional messages, but only where you consented to them.
Finding and fixing what is wrong with the site.
Answering your questions and meeting obligations the law imposes.

4. Cookies and Tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience and analyze traffic. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

5. Who else sees it

Your personal information is not for sale, at any price, to anybody. It is shared with the service providers who make the transaction work, namely payment, shipping, the SMS platform and analytics; where the law compels disclosure; and on a transfer of the business. SMS opt-in data is excluded from all three, as set out above.

6. What you can ask for

You can ask to see what is held on you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted, and California residents additionally have the statutory right to opt out of its sale, which we do not engage in. There is no penalty for asking. Requests go to stations@balancedlifescience.com.

7. How the data is protected

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures, and keep access to a need-to-know basis. Even so, nothing transmitted over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Keeping this current

We update this page when what we do changes. The date shown at the top tells you when it last did.
